Zael Sprite + Plans || HeavenTales
6 hours of work later (mostly in one sitting) I was able to get zaels sprite almost completed.
The only things I need to finish is the physics on the hair and outfit then everything else is done!!
For these sprites art I am using a method most vtuber artists know which is a form of cutting which can be called carving
It's basically taking a fully completed shaded piece on one layer, then carving out the shape you need and repairing what you carved or what is layered ontop.
This method isn't what I normally do which I make all the lineart then do the coloring + rendering.
But since the sprites are more simplified and will have more intricate shading/details I thought this would be the best method possible to get all the details I wanted
For those who are curious who will be done next for the sprites, that will be Kairon (primordial Pink)
After that it will be the main group (reaper, ivy, alya, zenon) then the sub characters (Celeste, lumina, Lloyd and Seren)
Of course once I finish these three primordial sprites I will probably take a small break from sprites to work on backgrounds for the visual novel so keep an eye out for that!!
