"he wasn't gonna shoot me!"
"i know that... buddy, you just gotta stay with me. please stay with me."
daily reminder that it was heavily implied sam was about to tell jules he loved her when the hot call from city hall came through (◕‿◕✿)
and then jules got shot right in front of him (◕‿◕✿)
and she almost died (◕‿◕✿)
and he blamed himself (◕‿◕✿)

SAM IS NOT ALLOWED TO CRY
one of my favorite moments of this episode is the tone of greg's "okay." when sam says that darren is "trying to feel something or not feeling something."
because this is the last episode there is any mention that sam may not be handling what happened with benmatt very well, only pretending to.
of course then they don't show any of the fallout. just ed telling sam he should go to a support group with him. which, when i think about it kinda contradicts ed's reaction to mental support both in the pilot and in 509. so what i gather is that ed is so concerned about sam he insists on taking him to get help
