Radiohead in Rainbows - From the Basement

No one will ever truly know how much I love this band and how their music effects me. I was at my darkest part of my life when I was 17 and this album came out. This album took me to a place where I could just forget all my troubles. I love all their other albums too but this one came out right when I turned 17. I feel I have a deep connection with their music.

By all means The King Of Limbs shouldn't work live, but as tour performances and this Live At The Basement live/studio set prove, Radiohead are masters of defying expectation. Every nuance from the album is carried over in this performance, with the addition of more personal moments with the band between songs. The raw talent exuded by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood is on full display here, both in performance and composition. As it's technically a live video rather than an album I was hesitant about putting it up for #livesessionsunday, but it and the In Rainbows session they did before it are phenomenal sets well worth a listen. Available on iTunes, but not Spotify. I'm nearing my ceiling with leg work thanks to the limitations required by my knee issue, but still doing good work.
