My favourite book of the year? Quite possibly, along with the epic Tiger Woods biography. I’m a huge fan of Daniel Coyle’s work (check out The Talent Code) and his deep-dive into the derivatives of high-performing groups is immense. Successful groups & cultures is one of my favourite subjects and it’s not always easy to find unique, well-researched, non-replicated (plagiarised) material as too many charlatans jump on the bandwagon, dumb it down for the masses and then position themselves as “experts” in high-performance.
