Hey. I know this probably won't help, but I think you're justified in thinking that the exciting butterfly feelings shouldn't have to be there to make the relationship meaningful. I don't get butterflies with my partner anymore either and at first I thought that meant I should end it, but that's not what it means. I'd be upset too, and I hope that it either works out with her after all or that you find someone who is 100% content with feeling at ease with you.
