I have a lot of gripes about my job, but tonight five different departments independently came together to rescue a bunch of baby ducks from a storm drain, so. The people aren’t the problem

in hockey updates, I went to a used sports store to check out hockey sticks; I’d been uncertain about if I would play left or right handed, so I wanted to try holding one in person. I had been told when I pick up one up I’d know immediately which way was correct, and I was a little worried that wouldn’t be the case for me since I’ve never played a sport that involves sticks/bats/etc (I played soccer and basketball). And well. I was mistaken. I could IMMEDIATELY tell which way felt correct

Fun fact, I’m apparently left-handed with a hockey stick despite being right-handed in all other aspects of my life
