The Tholian Web is a great episode - I love that the Tholians went "You fire phaser at miette??? Oh WEB for enterprise....stuck in space for a thousand years!!!" and also that Kirk was sitting in his room one day and went "Oh if I die Bones & Spock are gonna kill each other, better make a tape explicitly telling them not to do that" and he was RIGHT but both of them hated that he was right so much that they mutually came together to lie on the spot that they hadn't even seen the tape. What tape?? Vulcans don't lie, Jim, we just didn't have the time to listen to any tapes soorrryyy
