Sometimes I just think about Zhongli with dragon scales letting his body shift with his mood cause he’s so relaxed, taking his gloves off and making carvings from stones, little crystal flies and lizards of rocks like little dragons, collecting stones in his pocket on a walk

And sometimes I think of Venti glowing when he gets excited, and fluttering around when pestering people, and the edges of his form getting wispy when he gets tired, playing music that you can hear from miles away, whispering secrets in ears and soothing thoughts to kids on rainy nights.

And Ei wandering around, enjoying dango-milk, tapping Miko on the shoulder and shocking her with electro slightly, and fawning over new items when she wanders the markets, and complaining to Miko about books while the other tries to explain plots to her.

And then Nahida wandering the rainforest and settling into the grass, playing with the Aranara near the forest ranger patrols, helping kids get fruit form trees and letting her toes dig into the ground like roots and sprouting flowers from her palms and hair, making little sprites out of morning dew and swinging on vines with the calmer fungi that let her pet their tops.

Sometimes I think about them living and enjoying it, with their people.
