I know that in the hobbit Smaug is the biiig enemy blah blah blah manslaughtering dragon blah blah dAnGeRoUs blah blah- BUT...

I'd name my rabbit smaug, I'd name my little turtle smaug! it's just so damned CUTE!!
If I didn't know any better I'd assume they were talking about those tiny Asian lizards with wings at the mention of "smaug" and "dragon"
(And yes, for those who didn't know these lizards even existed they fucking do and it changed my life. We have literal dragons amongst us. Tiny little ones. BUT STILL DRAGONS. they are called Draco lizards :D)
