What would Mikono look like if he split into a skeksis and a mystic?

Urono would have been the “The Calmer” he was there in case things got heated between two parties.

Skekmik would have been “the instigator”, plotting how he can make two parties fight each other and then take what he wants in the war.

Why I like them

He has one of the coolest skeksis designs and he radiates that high priest look. The gold plated armor with red and black, the way he walks is pretty elegant for a skeksis, lots of good stuff. Also, to me, he’s the scariest looking skeksis out of the lot. The way his face looks like a skull and how his icy blue eyes pop out: it’s legitimately creepy and I love it.

Other than that I love that no one believes in his bullshit prophecies yet somehow he has a high social status among the other skeksis.

Why I don’t

Now let me just say I do not hate any of the skeksis as I adore all of them. But skekZok’s is my least favorite. I don’t know I just don’t find him as charming as the others. I think he doesn’t have enough qualities to counteract some of his creepiness like the others have. Doesn’t help that he’s also one of the slimiest skeksis, being right up there with skekSil, and not having enough to balance that out. He has very bad touch vibes and he needs to be locked up.

Also I still don’t forgive him for what he did to skekSa. She didn’t deserve that shit. skekZok was the only skeksis she trusted, let along liked enough to consider him as a friend, and he backstabs her.

I guess when it looked like he was about to shit himself when he sees Lore about to beat his ass and save the gelfling.

I am growing fonder over a skekVar and skekZok’s friendship: they’re complete opposites yet work surprisingly well off each other. I’d still like for skekSil and skekZok to have some kind relationship only to see them plot and sell each other out.

Head Canon

I talked about a headcanon on his missing beak before so how about this? I’m sure at some point during the Age of Division he had his own secret cult to just worship him and the other skeksis found out about it and punished him for it.

Unpopular opinion

I don’t think I really have an unpopular opinion of him if you don’t count what I said in the dislike section.

A wish

If I could sacrifice him to bring any of the dead skeksis/mystics back I would do it in a heartbeat.

I love Pikario because of his realistic depiction of depression. Even Ciel stated something along the lines of "No matter how well you think you know a person, they can still be suffering." The entire show is about one of life's little pleasures (Sweets) vs falling into despair. It's much deeper than people make it out to be.

(you got me going by mentioning Pikario! x3 I love this fluffball---obviously xD)KiraKira, despite having one of the weakest plots of all Pretty Cure, has to be one of the darkest seasons. Especially with the villains, it went very dark at many times. While best of them is without doubt being Pikario/Julio. (I may be biased here, but okay :”D)

All he has ever wanted was to be as good as baking as his older sister but could never reach it. And when he needed it the most, he was let down by Kirarin too. While Kirarin never wanted to hurt him, what he needed in this moment was not a “you can do better” but some nice words that would have helped him to grasp new hope.

That’s why, to me, Kirarin and Pikario, are the best characters of the season.

I sometimes think it’s sad that Toei didn’t explore the sad and dark sides of the protagonists. I think if Toei had taken the season a little more serious, then people would do too, imo. I appreciate KiraKira with all it is; I love it’s flaws and all the things it did well! I’m glad there are people who also love the season! <3

What are your headcanons on Saionji's family? I see him as coming from a very traditional Japanese family . Well respected and ritch but more eastern as opposed to Touga's western-styled family.

I agree with that. I think his family is older than Touga’s, but probably not quite as rich (I still think he’s got money). Definitely more traditional -- I think he got stoicism pushed on him as both a traditional male value and a traditional Japanese one when he was a sensitive and emotional kid.

I also think he might have been boarding at Ohtori from a pretty young age. It’s unclear whether his family lives in the area, but he’s in a dorm, and he’s known Touga -- who does live in the area -- since they were seven.

When you were exposed for cheating you could have easily spun a sob story about wanting to help the orphans and all those sorry saps would have believed you and given you a slap on the wrist. Why would you just throw it all away and ruin your empire like that?
