i saw how you were looking for LU AU requests, and. I have an old something though none of it's colored nfjkfskfh (colors are the same as their lu designs). It's called LKUV and I just wanted to put the boys in the RWBY universe. I have a tag on my blog for it (just #lkuv) (if you need to know more about Remnant (the world of rwby) then let me know, I will be happy to provide)
This was loads of fun! Even though I was completely clueless on how this AU works, I really enjoyed learning about it!
(Click for better quality!)
I added lineart incase anyone wanted to try and color it themselves!
Also, my apologies if the design isn't accurate I just thought the rocket boosted swing would look cool
It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? Well, I’ve finally drawn another weapon for LKUV (the now official name for the lu rwby au)! Also, all the weapons I’ve made have been given upgrades that I do intend to post, but be warned that some of them are near photo copies of canon, but know that i came up with this stuff some of this stuff pre-V7, and old weapon ideas predate V6. So please know I’m not trying to copy and any references will be explicitly stated ^^’
Now that the PSA is out of the way, we get down to the good content!

Wind Dust infused skate gear (essentially)
Wind's weapons are very straightforward, being fingerless gloves ,elbow pads, and some snug-fitting boots, all of which are infused with Wind Dust. Not much to say here. The only 'mechanics' at work would be the Dust. Although the elbow guards (made of metal slide on top of each other, but that's manual.
Semblance
Solid Sky
Wind uses his semblance just as extensively, if not more so than the Dust in his weapons. Solid Sky allows Wind to control gas particles in the air, often clumping them together to form walls, weapons, and sometimes miscellaneous items.
Dust usage and fighting style
Don't go thinking that Wind's limited arsenal means basic usage. Nope, this kid uses Wind Dust in the most extensive and creative ways imaginable(which, by the way, is how he got his nickname), such as creating protective tornadoes, personal updrafts to quite literally fly around the battlefield, and, most importantly, heavy hitting attacks. The Dust in Wind's weapons allow for more forceful hits from large gusts of wind, particularly - punches, palm strikes, kicks, and whenever he elbows someone. Can't forget that the placement of the Dust in Wind's shoes lets him rollerblade on air (which he loves to abuse lol). He can still do all of these things with his semblance, and while it does hit harder than the Dust, Solid Sky requires a much larger amount of aura, considering that Dust can activate on impact, and in those scenarios, requires no aura at all.
Solid Sky is still used often though, and is most commonly used to make:
-hammers (courtesy of @🔥Tempest🔥 on discord)
-blades to accompany his punches
-walls (both offensive and defensive)
-and platforms.
Wind is also well accustomed to close quarters combat but still works well with long range.
With all of this being said, Wind is a very mobile and fast paced fighter while simultaniously capable of dishing out noteworthy amounts of damage and even more so with knockback. A formidable opponent indeed, but he does have some trouble dealing with other heavy-hitting opponents if he’s forced to be on the defensive.
heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy guess who decided to start coloring weapons lol

Retractable sword and firearm-shield
As the summary implies, Warriors’ sword shortens so it can fit in the scabbard inside the shield and locks itself to it’s full length when in use. To make this happen, the sword is programmed to lock itself to its’ shorter length when inside the shield. There’s a sensor inside the shield that corresponds with one in Warriors’ sword; Shield Sensor tells Sword Sensor to retract and stay retract, and Sword Sensor tells to the sword to do just that. A similar thing happens when Warriors draws his sword.
The shield serves as a shield (duh), scabbard, and air gun (or something of that sort). It sits on a 360 degree rotator. The position the shield is in normally works for the air gun, but it rotates 180 degrees so Warriors can draw his sword before spinning back into place. The magazine is inserted the (visual) right of the shield, and a spring pushes the bullets into a small space between the feed tray (look up ‘parts of a machine gun’, that’s what it’s called) and the magazine. Here's where the glove comes in. That glove's been hard wired to control the those cans of pressurized air that are all connected to a tiny mechanism at the base of the scabbard. When Warriors forms a finger gun and pulls the 'trigger', the glove sends a signal to whichever can is (visually) furthest left to release just enough air to send the bullet flying at the speed of a normal pistol. When that can is out of air, the signal will go to the next can. As for the strange capsule thing on the (visual) left, that’s where all the shells go after the bullet’s been fired. (idk if that would actually work tho, rip)

Shield Slinger
In RWBY, every living creature has an aura, which protects them from physical harm and fuels their semblance in the case of humans and faunus. Warriors' ability allows him to separate his aura from his body and use it not just as a shield, but a weapon. He typically has it take the form of a shield, and since this thing is probs only an atom thick, is razor sharp. So, Warriors will usually fling the aura shield around him at whatever range he wants, and if he's not using it to hit something, Warriors' is blocking a series of attacks that he doesn't have the speed to dodge.
However.
Like I said before, aura is used to fuel ones semblance. With this in mind, when Warriors is actually using his aura for his semblance and not just fueling it like almost all other semblances, well, I'm thinking at least one of two things:
1) Warriors' aura is depleated faster than the average Huntsman or Huntress.
2) you can tell how much aura Warriors has left to use.
That, and since aura protects oneself from greater physical harm, if Warriors can't block the attack, then it will hit much harder than if he wasn't using his semblance. So it's a risk every time he uses his power.
Dust usage and fighting style
Warriors doesn’t actively use Dust unlike some (many) others in the group but he still shouldn’t be taken lightly, as he is one of the best Huntsman-in-training in Mistral and is climbing the ranks at a dangerous speed. Warriors is just as active and fluid in his movements as he is in HW and sometimes puts his aura into swings to make sword beams for max distance and damage.
Wild’s weapon of choice is a sword that unfolds and becomes a bow. The bow is up to his chin in height and the sword setting goes up to his chest, the ends of both being tipped with Hard Light Dust. It doesn't really do much when being used as a sword, but it acts the the bow string.
The sword mode for this is actually 4 blades connected by circular joints, along with 2 razor-sharp triangular blades that are not even a fifth of a cm thick. But while they're extremely thin, they're also made of the most sturdy material in all of Remnant, along w/ the rest of the bow, so Wild has little fear of it breaking.
Semblance
Flurry Rush
His maximum speed is only milliseconds slower than light, although that burns his aura out reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally fast, so he almost never moves at that speed.
Dust usage and fighting style
Wild uses 5 different types of Dust that is primarily used as arrows, but can be used to power up his sword if he wishes.
The Gravity arrows act as a knock back, and they hit veeeery hard, capable of stunning a Giant Nevermore. The fact that Wild has Steam arrows has made him been laughed at in the past, but the ones who've fought with him or have faced him off know that if you get hit by a Lightning arrow in a cloud of mist, it will end badly for you. Ice is capable of a simple frost, ice spikes, and, if Wild puts enough aura into the shot, can turn a medium sized area into solid ice. The last one, however, only works on Grimm. Fire, as stated before, makes a firey explosion, but that one sort of goes w/o saying.
As we all know, Wild is at peak combat performance with a bow, so with that in mind, he is a long-range fighter first, but is well trained in short and medium range combat as well. Wild is also considerably acrobatic and is one of the most likely in the group to hop around as part of his fighting style and will often use Flurry Rush to accompany that.

I promise there’s a lot more on the doc than what’s previewed
But yes, for those of you who liked the art I just posted, this is what it’s based on
you don’t have to like it, but it would mean a lot to me if you’d please read at least part of it
Ok, so GODDESS PENNY and myself were on discord yesterday and RWBY was brought up and I remembered some old concepts I never drew or posted because I knew if I did, I’d have to make all 9. So i did nothing with the au.
Until recently.
Four’s concept is the oldest, so I’m starting with him.
Also I’m copy pasting from discord with minor edits.

Multi-Dust Action 6-in-1 Disk
Four's weapon (the offensive half) is actually a 6-in-1, serving as a disk, revolver (edit: well, the magazine revolves, but it’s not a revolver, per se), rifle (Red's signature), hammer (Blue's signature), sword (Green's signature), and chain and sickle (Vio's signature). The lines you see on the 6-in-1 store the bullets, and there's nothing in the parts that have been colored grey so that the bullets can actually pass through the weapon. And I think it's important to mention that I might cut down on how much is stored in the magazine.
Each of the sub weapons are made entirely of dust: earth and a bit of gravity for Vio, wind and a touch of gravity for Green, fire for Red, and ice/water for Blue. All of them use a hint of Hard Light Dust in them to allow each weapon to retain it's form. So sort of like Velvet's weapon but with element variation.
The storage half of Four’s weapon is just as, if not, more important than the offensive half because, without it, the 6-in-1 would be rendered almost useless. It sits on his back and acts as a place for Four to place his disk (like in Tron), as well as holding all 7 different types of Dust he uses. (I figured he, Wild, and Sky would have the most versatile and expensive Dust range of the group due to their direct relation with royalty (which would probs transfer to a big Dust corperation in the RWBY universe). Those three are the only ones in the group to use Hard Light Dust due to it being the rarest and most costly type out there. To date, anyway.)
The 6 slots you see around where the disk is placed are capsules with 6 extra bullets inside them that are 'injected' into Four's offensive half of the weapon for refill. And the four standing things there are retractable and keep the disk in place when Four isn't using it.
Semblance
Quadruple
Four was diagnosed with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) at a young age, so he had to deal with 3 other voices in his head for a few years. Until he discovered his semblance, which allowed him to split himself into four different people, giving forms to the voices in his head.
Dust usage and fighting style
Green: As stated before, Green uses Wind Dust, as it is the primary composure of his signature weapon. And since he uses a sword, Green is most comfortable with medium range combat. The Wind Dust can also be used for slashes, aka sword beams, and he sometimes uses Gravity Dust to power it up for and extra powerful sword beam. If he puts a bit of aura in with the gravity as well, the slash/strike is capable of cutting down a redwood tree.
Blue: Blue specializes in ice dust first, water dust second, as the former has been shown more often in RWBY, so I'm assuming it has more combat potential (which makes sense). He will often slam his hammer on the ground and ice spikes will go in a straight line in the direction of his choosing. Most comfortable in close range combat but is equally good and comfortable with medium range.
Red: Red actually prefers to use the disk when he fights, being that it's the most stable version of the weapon (he uses Fire Dust which is famous for being highly explosive), is less likely to hurt someone if they get accidentally hit, and like Vio, prefers to not waste bullets. He's also more likely to use the revolver setting than the rifle for the first and second reasons just stated. Red only uses his Dust weapon when fighting off Grimm and typically uses it for the finishing shot. With that in mind, Red prefers long range combat the most out of the Four Who Are One but, like the rest, is very much capable of medium range combat. ALSO Red hops around the battlefield the most of the four.
Vio: Vio uses his chain and sickle in combat with arguably the most grace out of the four and is also probably the most versatile, if not, then after Green or Red. He mainly uses Earth Dust, typically so that when his blade pierces something it'll stay there; combined with Gravity Dust, which can either send things flying or hold things down to a surface of your choosing, whenever Vio's sickle gets stuck in something it won't come out unless he wants it to come out. Also, he can adjust the length of the string to his liking. Vio prefers to fight medium-long range combat and is the most likely to use the revolver after Red.
Bad title lol
4 1/2 hour long LU RWBY au (ft, draks verse) live write I did in the Darks-Verse discord yesterday that turned out surprisingly decent.
Enjoy :3
The bell rang as soon as Link - nicknamed Legend for multiple reasons - sat on the bleachers in Haven Huntsmen Academy's combat classroom, very thankful that the hallways were less crowded than normal; otherwise he definitely wouldn't have made it on time. Actually, scratch that, he wouldn't have made it in, not with how strict Ms. Goodwitch was about this last time.
The temporary swap in combat instructors wasn't exactly something Legend had appreciated.
"Good afternoon everyone." The students snapped to attention immediately at her crisp voice. "We will be following the normal schedule for today's class. Please go ahead and find a partner for warm ups." At this, everyone stood up and wandered the room for a partner. Legend went looking for someone in particular.
After a minute or two of wandering a sea of humans and faunus alike, Legend felt a light tap on his shoulder before his fight or flight instinct kicked in and threw a punch at whoever was behind him. His fist was caught by a boy his height with red hair so dark it seemed black and purple eyes that sparkled amusingly.
"Oh, hey Curse, I was looking for ya." "I figured," he said with a smile.
They found spot that hadn't already been taken and assumed combat positions facing the same direction. Curse and Legend started by extending their arms, as if punching, but slowly enough for it to be stretching.
"How've you been?" The former asked. "I haven't seen you in a while." They kept slowly extending and retracting their arms, changing the arm every time. "It's been going," the later responded. "Classes have been ok for the most part, having a bit of fun in art actually, but history's been keeping me up longer than I'd like." Curse chuckled. "History tends to do that."
Each stopped the punches and moved to touch their toes, one foot at a time. "You'd know something about that wouldn't you. It must be hard helping Acidic recover from that Beowolf, and keep up with class and homework. Is he doing much better? And how's Ravio??"
Curse stopped for a moment to think about his response.
"Yes, Acidic is doing a lot better, actually. He's having some trouble running, but he can keep his balance walking and even stand on one leg for a few seconds." "Already? That's really good news," Legend said with a smile on his face. The black-haired boy nodded in agreement.
Ms. Goodwitch called for everyone to jog in place.
"As for Ravio," Curse started as they began jogging, "he was actually the one who ordered me back to school. Said I'd spent enough time out of combat and wanted to make sure I don't fall out of practice, something like that. Like I don't train every so often." Legend rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sounds like him. I'm also assuming he mommed you about getting your work done." "Heh, not as much as he does Acidic for a lot of things, but since we're in the same place most of the time we both get it," He said laughing.
After five or so minutes, the combat instructor had everyone to return to the bleachers. Legend and Curse took their seats on the upper half before Ms. Goodwitch's commanding voice rang throughout the room. "Alright everyone, it's time for the sparing session to begin. Are their any volunteers for the first match up?"
Curse's hand shot up. "Real eager to get back into this, huh?" "Just be sure to record it, we both know I have a point to prove to Rav."
“Curse,” she called.
"Go for it," Legend encouraged while pulling out his scroll and activating the camera. "Don't need to tell me twice." Curse patted the blades on his hip before walking down to the arena, confident smirk on his face. ((note: i do not have his weapon planned so this might change in the future))
To say Legend was impressed by how quick the match was would be an understatement. He, along with everyone else, watched as Curse seemingly almost never touched the ground and disarmed ((heh)) his opponent in under 30 seconds, which was impressive, but what made it jaw-dropping was that knowing this purple-eyed wonder had taken an entire month off from school and hadn't trained with any known Huntsmen or Huntresses during that time. Especially considering he had dropped out for a while in the first place was because his cousin - another fantastical Huntsman-in-training - was badly injured; he had taken time off to care for him.
But who know anyway? Curse is excellent at keeping to himself.
The student in question walked back to his seat with a very proud posture and a smug look on his face. The only thing he told Legend before sitting down was "What did I tell ya?"
"Psh, you weren't telling me, I believed ya." "You're mouth hanging open after the match said otherwise." The blondie smirked and landed a playful punch on his cousin's shoulder as the former laughed at Legend's action before taking a seat.
A few more matches later, Legend decided to take a shot on the arena floor. His hand went up the same time another student did as well. When Ms. Goodwitch approved of them both, murmurs spread throughout the room. The old rivals were going back at it, and the crowd - even Curse, who even pulled out his scroll like many other students - instantly knew that this was going to be an entertaining match up indeed.
"This match will be Legend versus Warriors! Please make your way down to the floor!"
The two friends searched the room for blond hair and blue cloth and found Warriors beginning to make his way down the bleachers to the arena. "This is it," Curse and Legend said at the same time.
"Kick his butt."
The later high-fived the former and walked down the steps to the floor.
The room was buzzing with anticipation as the rivals stepped down the stairs and positioned themselves in front of each other and assumed their combat stances.
"3!"
Legend's eyes met Warriors'; both knew there wouldn't be much holding back.
"2!"
Legend felt the Dust in his boots pulse,
"1!"
Readied his semblance.
“GO!”
Legend activated the Gravity Dust in his boots a quarter of a second before sprinting at Warriors, who he got to in under a second and attempted to roundhouse kick him, but his foot was met with a titanium shield. It still knocked Warriors to the side though. Legend saw an opening and his sole connected with the other's stomach at an incredible speed, sending him flying with much force. But Warriors was ready. He landed his feet on the wall Legend kicked him towards before jumping off towards his opponent while firing the Desert Eagle that was in his shield for distance.
((yes I upgraded War's weapon a while ago but never put it on the comp.)) Legend glared at Warriors and readied his Fire Dust, but the later held out his shield arm and fired in the Legend's direction. Legend jumped to the side and scoffed at himself for not keeping Gravity mode on. Warriors rolled when he landed (Legend knew from experience it was to ensure a softer landing, but then he sort of thought it was for showing off) before aiming at his rival and once again pulling the trigger.
The shorter of the two side stepped the shot before it was even made and switched his boots back to Gravity mode before jumping onto his opponent, which worked to some degree. Legend just didn't think he'd be landing on Warriors' shield then sent soaring from jumping off while being parried.
Legend glanced down mid-air to see if he could catch any glimpses of his opponent. He did.
Warriors had drawn his sword and an aura slash was being sent his way.
Legend's eyes widened as soon as he saw it which was instantly followed by what felt like concrete crashing into him.
Even with the wind knocked out of him, he tried to concentrate and figure out what he could do to keep himself from being ragdolled into the wall.
A lightbulb went off in Legend's head and he set his boots to their Wind Dust setting before kicking twice as hard as he could to slow himself. It worked! The duo-hair-colored fighter then turned the Ice Dust setting on and created a plate of ice underneath his feet. Legend pushed off of the ice to redirect himself, shattering it, and keeping Ice mode on, roundhoused in mid-air, sending 5 ice spikes in Warriors' direction.
Warriors jumped back just before the ice pierced him and as he did, the other Link had created another chunk of ice, this time thicker. The boy clad in red jumped off this one too, this time right at the one in blue; and when the ice shattered, 9 long, thin pieces of aura-infused ice were sent sailing at his opponent.Legend knew Warriors would have to put his shield up for this attack, so he readied his Fire Dust in prep for landing on or in front of him.
The student with the blue scarf, had in fact raised his shield, but was well aware of what his opponent was trying to do, so he side stepped at the last possible second and saw a flare of fire go off next to him. Could even feel the heat. Warriors moved to bring his sword down on Legend, but the later moved out of the way without a moment's hesitation. Legend then switched feet and kicked a wave of fire towards his rival, who whipped his shield back up.
The Dust user of the two sped towards Warriors on Gravity; Warriors dodged before spinning on the ball of his foot and slashing horizontally. Legend jumped up to avoid it and sent a fireball in his opponents' direction who responded by shooting the fireball, causing a small-ish explosion. Warriors readied his shield once more and ended up skidding back a few feet from the force, while Legend created another ice barrier to shield himself and bounce off of before landing on his feet.
Legend changed back to Gravity and sailed over the floor towards Warriors, who swung downwards, but Legend cartwheeled back just in time for the Gravity-infused soles of his boots to come in contact with Warrior's blade, making it bounce and causing the later loose a bit of his footing. But he recovered quickly and sent an up-swinging aura slash to Legend, who bounced out of it's path as fast as he could.
Legend redirected himself and jumped up higher than normal from the Dust and sent consecutive fire, wind, and ice kicks Warriors' way, all in mid air, but the fighter in blue had his shield up for all three. The blondie with the hat stomped as he hit the ground, which sent a trail of ice spikes in Warrior's direction; he destroyed it with another aura slash.
Legend's heart was racing faster than ever as he watched the blue-green glaze of Warrior's aura leave his body thin out and reshape itself to the shape of a large, smooth, outward curving triangle. This was it; Warriors' semblance, Shield Slinger.
Warriors' aura spun around himself once before it's thin edge came straight for Legend. Legend jumped back and continued to evade the spinning attacks until he decided to switch back to Gravity Dust again and jumped as high as he could. It's common knowledge at this point that when using his semblance, Warriors is, physically, wide open. The question is though, how to attack him when his aura moves at an impossibly fast speed?
The idea hit Legend like a truck.
The student warrior in red turned his body so that he was facing opposite of the wall Warriors had been pushing him towards, and facing down, but not directly. He then switched to Ice mode and created an ice platform once more to push off of. He bounced off with Gravity, turned in a completely different direction, and bounced off another Ice platform using the Gravity Dust. And another. And another. And another still.
After much of the ricocheting, Legend had completely rendered Warriors incapable of guessing where he would come from next.
One more time.
Legend made one last plate of ice near the ground before leaping towards Warriors with all possible force, simultaneously activating all 4 types of Dust in his boots.
His final attack landed.
On a titanium shield.
Warriors had put up his normal shield just in time, but that didn't mean he wasn't sent flying. A powerful force was felt by all as Legend's feet connected with the shield, and the student in blue was launched across the arena, and tumbled as he landed, too stunned to respond as quickly as what was required of him to break his fall.
And as this happened, the buzzer rang out, signifying that both Warrior's and Legend's aura levels were in the red.
"It's a tie!" Ms. Goodwitch announced.
Legend collapsed from exhaustion and Warriors began to stir as the room erupted into applause and compliments, some coming down form the bleachers to help the two stand up. Legend felt his left arm be lifted around a shoulder, feeling himself pulled up both by his arm and right side.
"You were completely and utterly spectacular!" Curse beamed as he aided his friend. "All the ricocheting you did around Warriors to keep him from guessing your moves was especially brilliant!" Legend smirked. "At least we both know I won." "That you did," Curse laughed.
They turned their attention to the group of people that had surrounded themselves, Legend thanking everyone for praise and constructive criticism alike before glancing at the piers that were around Warriors.
"You think he'll still let us take him and his little brother out for an afternoon snack after that?" "This is Warriors we're talking about, of course he'll accept, even if you still whipped him."
