Honestly that’s one of the big remaining mysteries with Keith’s family, is the hows.
We’re sure of Keith himself, Krolia, we’re sure of Keith’s father, and I feel like you could make very compelling arguments for Kolivan and Acxa, but then...
How did Krolia and Keith’s father meet? Why did they decide to start a family together?
Where were Keith and Acxa born? Was that on Earth, or somewhere else?
Did Krolia tell the Blade about this?
What caused Acxa, who seems to be a person very motivated by loyalty and connection, to be separate from the family the way she is?
Why did Krolia leave her partner and son, especially when she seems to deeply regret it?
What happened to Keith’s father?
How much is Acxa aware of her connection to Keith? Does she know she’s half-human?
How much is Kolivan aware of Keith’s father and the history that led to Keith’s birth? Does he know that Keith has a sibling?
At this point? I really don’t think we have enough canon to cover the answers to all of those questions.
