I'm halfway on part 15 and went to the internet looking up what the SAS did.. because, you know, at this point on the fanfic its pretty obvious it is a special unit and whatnot, but I have absolutely 0 knowledge about the military, not even my own country's military outside of seeing their posts out on assignments on the freeway, waving at them on the convoys passing through or the military college I passed by going to work a couple of years back, so, I got curious and went looking...
and oh my gods, just the selection course its insane, reading about the kind of missions they do and their training, like, footloose did an amazing job describing it and still letting the mundane things shine trough, I am speechless
