I have watched a lot of media, and I know the typical patterns. I know how to spot the bad guy and how to spot the red herring. I know when someone is going to die in the next scene and I know when a couple is endgame.

this is extremely frustrating for my husband when we watch something together and I say “he’s dying in the next scene because he finally professed his love for her”
