First I'd like to start off with a painful topic for me: the piano. And coincidentally, it just so happens that Liam plays it.

I think the first video we've ever gotten of Liam playing on the piano was during the fourth Pokémon diary. Look for cute little fringe liam behind Harry and Niall. He kind of plays for a few short seconds and then stops.
Ah so here we are, the post-XF stage. The next video you see here is super short but at least you can hear him this time!.
(i know it's from a photoshoot and he's not exactly playing but he just looks really nice sitting next to a piano i'm really turned on tbh)

And that just about wraps up Liam's piano playing. Fun fact, did you know that he basically taught himself piano and guitar? That leads me to my next section. *drumroll* ...LIAM AND GUITAR! This is a messy topic so bear with me.
