If I uploaded the first chapter (not the prologue for once lol the full first chapter) here on tumblr of one of my new LMK OC fics called “Searching For Rain” would anyone be interested?
It’s an alternate au to my Monkie Kid au: The Bull and the Jade Warrior, but instead of focusing on the main character Chen (at least for most of the fic, however he and other characters get POVs) it focuses more on my other character Rey, a secondary/background character that honestly deserves more love
Here’s a summary: "Rey had always been quiet, keeping to themself and never bothering anyone. The rare times they spoke up though, it had gotten them into deep, deep trouble.
What made them think this time would be any different? When Rey goes missing, the Monkie Kid Crew waste no time to search for the Dragon, interrogating all their enemies and begging friends and family for help. But as weeks pass and with no clues, they start to suspect foul play. After all, it wasn't like Rey to just up and run away. Right?"
It does have spoilers and references for my other canon fic “The Bull and The Jade Warrior” though, so if you don’t know who half the characters are you can read that (if y’all want to ofc). But there’s also spoilers for stuff I haven’t written in my canon au either so ye oof

Just kinda wanna promote it ig cuz I’m happy with how it’s turning out so far (it’s about half way done. There’s gonna be roughly 16 chapters). My goal this year is definitely to write more than I did last year and this fic has helped with that already.
