Tomorrow is my mom's birthday! She is turning another year older, so wish her a good ol' birthday. ☺️

With that being said, I will be on and off tomorrow to go celebrate my dear mother!

Will of the Wisps chapter 38 will hopefully be posted this Thursday, and I'm close to getting done with info for side characters in What Lurks Between the Trees (certainly helps when you have imagined OCs so much you vividly know who they are and how they act, lol). I'm hoping to get finished with side characters this upcoming weekend!

Hey, if you’ve noticed recently, I wiped the entire Red Mask Au off of my blog, and this is intentional and my reason why.

So, I’ve kind of gotten stuck plot wise, I have nowhere to continue, and I can’t go back to edit already posted chapters. I’ve also kind of have lost the will to write it for the time being. I’ve always been the person who can’t devote themselves to one project, and due to this, I will have cool ideas that I really want to write, but then I have to work on the Au I’m posting, and due to that, the Red mask Au have come to feel more of a pest than a passion project.

If you were reading it and was intrigued by its story, I’d be more than glad to give you the synopsis of what would’ve happened, and maybe in the future, when I have the Au finished, I can post the entire thing, but for now, the Red Mask Au has been wiped from my page and is gonna have to sit on the back burner for a bit.

I hope ya’ll understand 💜

Hey, y'all! Update: I'm back after hanging with my friend! We had a lot of fun, and I rode rollercoasters with him! (I screamed a lung out at too many points, but IT WAS SO MUCH FUN; we rode one of the most intense rollercoasters at the park, like, three times. XD)

Anywho!-- writing the next chapter will begin for Will of the Wisps, including planning/researching for What Lurks Between the Trees!

I will be publishing an acknowledgement page for WLBTT later today, before I forget, lol.

No doubt with a cigarette and yep— "Y'know," Macaque starts, the offending cigarette held loosely between two fingers. It reeks, more potent than the incense Master Subhodi used to fill the halls of the monastery with. And that was saying a lot. "Mortals are pretty bad with their films." Well I was expecting more of a 'hello,' but— "I think they do a good enough job," is what he decides on instead. Besides, mortals have always been a creative bunch when it comes to expressing their ideas and emotions. From loud fireworks to puppets cut from the cloth of rice bags, films felt like a long-awaited evolution of story-telling. "I mean, they did make some pretty cool movies about me, so..."

Summary: A one-shot in which a mortal's documentary problems become an allegory for Shadowpeach.

Updates, people, updates!:

I've been taking a couple days of a brain break for myself, which has been super helpful! I've been enjoying letting my body rest after a long and stressful four years of uni, lol.

Nevertheless, Will of the Wisps chapter 36 is now being worked on! I'll be getting started tonight, and I should be getting a monitor at my work desk to help me with these efforts soon.

I've also been trying to debate who an OC of mine, Lyra, should be paired with. She's my main heroine in What Lurks Between the Trees. I am unsure if she should be paired with Jester or Harlequin? I've been leaning more towards Harlequin, since she is a rough and tumble hard-working cowgirl, but she has a few traits that would also be nice for Jester. Lowkey, if y'all got some opinions and advice for this, I would appreciate it! You can message me also directly if you prefer.

I'm also working slowly through character sheets in the background. I'm slowly eating my way through the elephant so I don't accidentally burn myself out, lol.
