im talking to this midwest emo and he reminds me of dabi sm bc of the way he talks, acts, and stuff. if anything, he'd be irl dabi, he's got a bunch of scars as well and he's soososos handsome. he plays most chordophones, percussion, and sings as well. i am cooked. more grunge dabi ideas are gonna come from this guy

I read a review for a book about how the reader felt like it was a first draft...and idk, as a writer, that came off as such a slap in the face. It's not even my book, but I read it, and while everyone's entitled to their opinion, it was the furthest thing from a first draft. I've read first drafts. I've written first drafts. They are not the same. :') And this particular author, imo, is leagues above many of the literature I've devoured.

Sometimes I forget that most people have no idea how much work goes into a book, and that there are some people who need Every Question Answered. I haven't forgotten that art doesn't ever resonate with Everyone, though.

But I digress. Art is subjective, and often-times, personal. So if someone tells you your art stinks, just keep going anyway. Out of spite, if you have to. But mostly out of love.
