and yet sukuna's contradictory metaphor of the skies clearing as snow is visibly falling subverts the transience of snow, as does his declaration that he'll never forget gojo satoru for as long as he lives— gojo, the fleeting beauty, is immortalized. frozen into sukuna's heart, his eternal winter.
