Unbelievable. First Aisha and now this girl? To say Minghao was unfortunate in his encounters as of late was an understatement, but his former girlfriend was at least someone he could deal with. When it came to the girl known as Seo Soojin there was only one course of action that made sense. Get away. Escape and that as quickly as possible before she noticed him. Even if it meant that Minghao had to turn around in his tracks and inconvenience himself, he figured it would be an even huger inconvenience to interact the girl who was like peas in a pod with Aisha.

It was not him being a coward. It was a tactical retreat.

Minghao shot a glance backwards to notice her figure still there. Oh god was she coming closer?

hell is a teenage girl

kun had been thinking about what he'd be going as this halloween. initially, there was a long list, most of which required for him to get in touch with the family stylist and some required prosthetic makeup. but just days before, as he was going over the costumes shipped over for the final fitting, he suddenly lost interest. he remembered heaving a very deep sigh and turning to see an alarmed look in one of the stylists face when as he was asked if it was not to his liking. he smiles and made up an excuse that he forgot about some things at work that he had to address.

instead he opts to go for the most ridiculous choice of all, edward cullen, the vampire who sparkles under sunlight. he thought it would be quite ironic (and amusing) to dress up as someone who was used to insult him before. that disturbing thought aside, he just thought dressing up less extravagantly this year would be a breath of fresh air -- that and it was easier to get it off if the need arises, he can never be too sure about how the night goes anyway.

"well, well, well..." he says with a smirk, recognizing soojin ( @lmsoojin ) in her costume. "hell really is a teenage girl, hm?" kun adds with a laugh. "guess we're going for movie icons this time, we sort of match." he tells her, throwing an arm around her shoulder, "we embody two things girls like, killing boys and shiny diamonds. get it?" perhaps he was getting too close for comfort, but he liked to tease soojin that way. "so where to first, jen?"

peek-a-boo

jaemin doesn’t realize that he’s left something valuable in his room until he was putting together some documents he needed for university. he’s gone over the folders exactly fifteen times before he’s given up and admitted that he had missed to pack those papers. he curses and groans – as quietly as he could of course, while he starts to get ready for the halloween thing they were going to. the last thing that he wanted right now was to go back to their house after the hearsay his nosey aunts call him for. there was really no way around it.

and that’s how he finds himself, sitting at yet another bus stop, dressed in the all too familiar black hoodie that he only wears if there was something that needed to be done... discreetly -- and to hide the spider man suit he had on. as if he was on a roll with missing out on the details, he caught sight of his cousin, soojin ( @lmsoojin ) approaching their meeting place. whenever he thought about how many times they had interacted, it’s amusing to him that he doesn’t realize they were related. he really needed to sleep more, that’s for sure.

he gets on his feet and waves at his cousin, a smile as she came closer and closer. there would have been a different welcome greeting if this was someone else, another friend and donghyuck definitely got a different one the first time jaemin brought them along on his... errands. “you sure you want to go do this with me?” he tells her, hands slipping into the front pockets of his jeans. “you can back out now if you want.” he adds, sounding a little absurd about something that seems like a normal thing to do. after all, going back home to get some stuff one left behind was something everyone did – and that’s all he told soojin. not exactly how they were getting it. "don't you have like any place to be at? like a halloween thing or something?"

Girls’ Night In

a starter for @lmyerim

“So like, I was trying to find some super sweet bullshit, like Barefoot, or something, but...I don’t know Korean wine so I got this...it’s like...mulberry and it’s got some bitch in a hanbok on it, so it looks classy...” 

Soojin flashes Yerim the bottle of wine as she lowers herself onto her sofa, setting the pair of glasses she’d had awkwardly wedged between her fingers onto the coffee table, pouring them each a generous glass of it, richly purple-red, and nodding for Yerim to take one. 

“And we’re like...classy, right? So I thought it fit the occasion...” she adds with a snort. 

She tucks her legs up against herself, grabbing the tiny little remote to flick through some of their viewing options, eventually landing on The Craft, and clicking play, although she hardly expected them to be the most attentive of viewers; it’d been far too long since her and Yerim had had a chance to catch up, and she kind of figured that the film would end up as little more than a nice, seasonally appropriate backdrop to their conversation. 

“How’s...Opus? Omnus? Omni? That one, right?” she says, trying to recall the name of the company Yerim had signed her youth away to, “Oh shit, and your little girlfriend?”

Act 2, Scene 2

A starter for @lmxkun TW drug/alochol mention

Yoorim is God only knows where, probably making out with some choding, or snorting something illicit in a bathroom somewhere, and Soojin is suddenly very warm—probably the small army of cocktails that now dances the mamba in her belly, and she starts to think that if she doesn’t cool off pronto, she’s likely to spontaneously combust. 

So it is that she finds herself outside; Yoorim had dragged her along to some gala for some charity thing, and the building it was held in was needlessly beautiful, equipped with a wrap around balcony on the level the event was on that was lit by fairy lights, and dotted with pretty plants. It is currently rather desolate, not surprising considering how the sunset and sudden kick of wind had dropped the temperature, but the cool night air is a relief to Soojin as she stomps to the barrier to light a cigarette. 

It isn’t until she’s leaned against it that she notices a figure in her periphery, glancing at it ready to spout off an apology before she catches sight of a familiar smile, and a familiar set of dimples. 

“Oh god, it’s you.” she mutters with a wry chortle, “Do you attend like, every rich person party in this city? Is that your job?”
