" something HELPFUL?? " peppino barked back in reply, clearly annoyed that her ' solution ' to the previous issue had created another even BIGGER problem! this was why the use of magic was best avoided — it never made anything easier, and usually ended up putting him in the worst of positions!
" i'm genuinely surprised that i got even one bingo. " are you though, noel. are you really, miss "death is elegant."
are you hades's type?
Sweet Heels of Achilles, would you just look at all those little pretty moons decking out the place? Dark mist pours and snakes over Noel's shoulders, leafing through her dark locks like cold breeze, haunted by a faint impression of fingers as Hades comes to lean down low over the witch's shoulders to peer at the card. He gives an impressed whistle.
"Got a sweet spot for the dark, Noel?" He chuckles, hands cupping her shoulders. "We're pretty compatible! I mean, if you were anyone else I might bust your chops on the 'dog lover' mark, but I know you witchy gals love your cats. I'm not opposed to them, either." He actually quite likes them, specifically the funny little orange ones and sleek black ones. "Far as I'm concerned, we're a match made in Hades. ~"
“ howww do you feel about candied flowers? like violets? ”
"They're... well, y'know, I've got some French in me, so... it's not unusual! I know about it and all. I just, uh, I don't normally use those in the stuff I make. They're pretty though! And I kinda feel like an animal when I put a bunch in my mouth."
“Pero what about the rest of those fancy things, huh? You sell all that, too?”
He was getting used to the shop. He didn’t understand the product exactly, but he understood that she was making decent money from it. Invisible to all else who entered, Héctor had little choice but to continue conversation with the only chica who could hear ; he had spent too long being ignored while being visible, he didn’t want to feel it again. He reclined in his spot, bony heel hooking onto the ledge, spine cracking as pieces settled into place.
“People really buy these things, don’t they? What for- por qué?”
“You aren’t the first witch I’ve ever met. There’s this girl named Alycia I know who’s studying to be a witch. She’s not quite good at it yet, though! And my new mama does spells and potions and things like that. She fixed me like that. But maybe you know some fun magic she doesn’t?” The little fae girl spoke incredibly fast as she eagerly leaned forward, her eyes dancing with thrill.
