“Let’s get it!”
Osric ‘Oz’ Irons. Bouncer by trade. Demi-god by blood. Fighter by nature. Youngest son of Ogun, Yoruba god of smiths and war. Born and raised in the enigmatic urban sprawl of Perdido Angelus, Oz and his older brother, Lyric, learned first-hand the struggle of life among humanity. Where his brother saw a milieu of bottomless cruelty and base self-interest to be exploited, Oz saw a procession of determination and resilience to be admired.
Oz’s love for his human family, rooftop BBQ’s, PS4, action flicks, junk food and watching the city skyline with his equally otherworldly beloved, Penny, comes to an abrupt end upon finding himself at the center of a brewing war between the Rada and Petwo nanchons of Loa.
To protect his home and kin, Oz must hone his godly powers and dive into the fathomless realm(s) of Vodun. Mind, body and soul must be forged into iron if he is to prevent the impending carnage of not only the gods, but also the machinations of his brother.

Staff of the Rada: Carved from the body of a 6,000 year old baobab tree, the staff was blessed by each loa of the Rada clan and marked with their respective runes. Passed from houngan to houngan for many generations, the staff acts as a conduit for calling upon the various powers of the loa. With it, the wielder can perform a wide number unnatural feats and miracles, such as; manipulating the elements, altering gravity, opening inter-dimensional portals, heal grievous injuries, control time, necromancy, communing with ghosts, demons, angels and other entities existing outside the human plain, etc.
Perhaps the staff’s most powerful ability, is being able to summon the physical aspects of whatever god or goddess has inscribed his/her rune onto the staff, forming a breed of pact with the wielder.
The connection to the loa is amplified by the individual power of the houngan or mambo wielding it. The staff’s most recent owner, Runt, holds the most intense and closely knit connection to the loa to date, by way of his natural talent, faith and abundance of ‘ti bon ange’ (spiritual energy). With the staff, Runt is the living vector – a walking manifestation – of the god’s powers.
Liontari-Ehin: Co-created by Ogun, Yoruba god of metal work, and Hephaestus,Greek god of smiths, this shape-changing spear is presented to Oz as part of his inheritance for the coming war between the loa tribes. Weighing in at roughly several metric tons and forged through an intricate mesh of cold iron and obsidian, and infused with a series of both Greco and Voudoo spells, Liontari-Ehin is capable of changing its size, shape and density, giving its wielder an immense edge in power, speed and reach (if mastered).
