So I just started Mass Effect 2...
and however much I cursed the Mako's defiance of the laws of physics, and however much I chafed at being confined in an elevator for two minutes, without the elevators and the Mako, I feel... confined, even Railroaded. There's no way to go but forward, and I miss the sense of the open world that the absence of load screens gave me
