I find any more than 20-30% is too much. Personally, I get tired if every scene post get together feelings like it involves smut unless the story is specifically focused on sex/kink exploration.
I see. Yeah, I guess it’s excusable (I’m hoping it is) if we’re talking about a sex-centred story. I’m just not sure because there’s quite a bit of steamy scenes before the get together and it’s already at 15%. Finding balance is hard, it seems. :( Thanks, Jules!

Depending on how long the story is. If it's a long fic over 100k I would say maybe if it's more than 50% smut it's too much. If it's a short 10k fic 50% would be way too much.
That sounds excessive, yeah! With that much smut, might as well go for a PWP instead. Haha! I’m hoping it won’t be anything like that (unsure about length, though it’s definitely 40K+), but hopefully there’s stuff to add to “dilute” the smuttiness a bit (if ever comes to such a high ratio).
