The large snake seems to hang out pretty reliably in the same spot, when it's warm out. I'm getting very fond of it.

It's always interesting to go into a local yarn store and be mildly snubbed. I'm sure that by all outward appearances, I seem like an overly ambitious dilettante with delusions of grandeur. Although I was wearing the Et Sweatera, and the person at the checkout didn't even notice.

This random petunia turned up in a woodsy, weedy, mostly-neglected area nearby. I suppose it must have grown from a seed thrown by some previous, more intentional garden plant. So far it's made two different colors of flower.

I went to Local Art Event, but ended up not staying very long, partly because it was so loud you couldn't have any kind of conversation about the things you were looking at, but also because I turned out to be incredibly allergic to something in the building. Alas. I really am no fun at all.
There was a deer strolling by outside the window, and I managed to grab my phone just in time to get the derpiest possible picture.
