Lots of folks asked me about the sweater I wore to @mdsheepwoolfest This is the one from Saturday. The pattern is an #alicestarmore from her book on aran knitting and it’s called St. Brigid. The yarn is my own, called Excalibur. It’s wool and mohair. I did the grading, skirting, washing and dye work. And the fiber was milled @gurdy.run.woolen.mill It’s a sentimental yarn to me as it dates back to the beginning of my fiber art & farming career. The incredible knitting talent is from my dear friend @craicpotwoolwork And definitely the sweater looks sweeter on my beautiful Robin. So the whole thing is a treasure!
