307 calorie apple cinnamon waffles
This makes 4 of them. Go crazy ig
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbs sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 tsp powdered sugar (optional for topping)
1 cup all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup low fat milk
1 medium apple (grated)
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1/4 tsp salt
Combine dry ingredients. (No powdered sugar yet)
Combine wet ingredients separately. (Apple would go here, incase it's not clear idk)
Mix wet ingredients with dry, let rest for 10 minutes.
Spray waffle iron with non stick stuff. Put 3/4 of the waffle batter in the middle of the iron. Cook waffles for 4 to 5 minutes, or until steaming stops and waffles are browned.
Optionally, add a tablespoon of the yogurt on top and the powdered sugar would go here. I like to do the yogurt and a little sprinkle of extra cinnamon. Really toppings you like or none if you don't want to.
