After a warm summer the Xxland’s citizens are increasingly becoming worried that their healthy 60–100 cm of yearly snow won’t show up in time for the 2020 Winter Olympix along the beautiful coastlines of Kaxlmar – a place of athletic pride and an important commercial tourist attraction for the region.
Professor Yung Rein, from the XNU Univeristy says that the Xxland’s constant festivals, TVxShopping sprees and traditional family dinners (weekly burning of the thermoplastics in the town square) are all a part and a big reason why the sea levels are rising.
Environmental NGO:s have long been warning about the impact of the raising temperature ‘crisis’ and how it will not only affect the coral’s survival but OURS?
The beach houses seem fine and their inhabitants’ response to the news: No worries, it’s fiiiine. We’ve been through things like this before. Like last summer, and the year before. It’s just regular Xxland weather.
Due to strong demands from all categories of Xxlanders the two parties of Extra Large Land will meet and discuss their take on this issue on the 16th of October [GAME EVENT #2]. It’s soon, but still with a week to go, and as both parties are known for strategies of persuasion to the region’s stakeholders we should expect participation in a wide arrangement of communicatory channels.
