Six digital studies (~30-90mins) of the Missouri State Penitentiary, based on the recent Ghost Files ep!! I love it when the boys visit old dank buildings like these - makes for great texture practice :3

More location studies for my comic, feat. Issue 1′s main character Irma’s room and her desktop wallpaper. This is mostly just for practice but this is a good look into her living space within the comic.

On a bit of an art roll today, trying to boost my skill level so I can tackle my project with more confidence. Up top is a color blocking test and location sketch for my inevitable struggle with backgrounds, while the bottom pic is an art style study from the last panel of Matt Wagner and Wilfredo Torres’ excellent run of The Shadow: Year One.
