I groan, cracking my eyes open as the different voices spin above me. My stomach lurches down to my feet, and a I quickly turn onto my side, the bile and whatever’s left in my stomach spilling passed my lips. My forearms shake under my own weight, and my vision is bleary with sleep and tears. My throat feels raw as my entire body constricts from the force of it all.

“Let me through!” 

I look up, spit dribbling from my chin. That voice... That one voice I’ve been craving for days, belonging to the one face that would always make everything better now staring back at me with nothing but pity. My chest tightens at the expression, only one thought seeping through my mental haze.
