After taking a few days to unpack and settle back into his old bedroom, Daniel was already itching to get out and go somewhere. Normally it would have been at least a few more days before he started getting antsy, but it was different this time. Without a return to Hogwarts looming on the horizon, a break to relax hardly seemed necessary. Besides, it wasn’t like a job was just going to fall into his lap.
With this in mind, he’d made his way over to Diagon Alley- he still wasn’t sure what exactly he wanted to do, but it seemed as good a place as any to start. He picked up applications from a few different places, figuring he’d sort through them and fill out the ones he was most interested in once he got back home. Focused on the task at hand, he didn’t notice the familiar figure up ahead until he’d very nearly run into them. “Oh, sorry!” he apologized immediately, even though he’d managed to stop short of an actual collision.
