there has been a very clear shift in the willmack vibes during warm-ups (i know this isn't news, but it was fun to see in person, very playful and focused on each other, more than i'd ever seen before)

will made his way over to mack on the bench during the pregame, i didnt catch if he was summoned this time, i dont think he was, but will walked by a bunch of guys to get next to him

whenever they were sitting together, they were very chatty

mack made a really funny flinching face when he was in the path of a shot on goal that i really wish i had captured

warso feels his emotions Very Strongly

he hypes up the guys on the bench whenever the team did a good job blocking shots

(do not be mistaken in thinking im a warso fan now, but it was fun to see how the coaches behaved)

in general, the assistant coaches seemed to be doing a lot more of the decision making than warso but this is solely based on vibes, dont hold me to that

the refs come over and chat a lot and they all seemed like pals

some guy behind us yelled in a v strong boston accent "Klingbahg, yah a losah! yah smell like cheese!" and I'm in love with him

TD garden gave us all these like tweed hat things when we got inside and my friend was wearing both mine and hers at the same time, Goody stared at her for a solid 10 seconds trying to understand what was going on

the coaches include mack in the discussions and mack talks to them a lot

warso kept patting sherwood on the back, idk why

while will was benched for the entire last 7 minutes, reaves talked to him a bunch

i could 100% be making this up, but my interpretation was that when mack went to do his first shift without will post-benching, he looked forlornly back at will

the picture max miller took of the stands of all the people here to see will was not even remotely close to how many people we saw earlier, he must have taken that photo a while later. the estimates were 150-200, but i saw randy say 272 and that had to have been way closer

sitting behind the bench is super cool for seeing the players up close but horrible if you want to actually see anything happening on the ice

im gonna post some botg from the game. i will stop running this blog completely if anything ends up outside of tumblr without my direct permission. (i would never delete my blog though, this whole thing exists because i hate the idea of lost media)

people on twitter who were at the game said willmack were giggling again during the national anthem. do you have the clip of it?

that's awesome! it was a pretty good game so i hope you had a good time even though will didn't end up playing!

there was a good number of us there for sure, i knew of at least four people from tumblr who were there apart from the handful i was there with. it's crazy bc every person ive met from tumblr irl, which is a little over a dozen at this point, has been so awesome, like i dont know how ive been so lucky, but this is such a great fandom

unfortunately for us, we couldnt see will bc he was sitting above and behind us but one of my friends was sitting across from his section so she'd be like "okay he's there, he didn't really react to that goal, he wasn't there for leno's, maybe he has popcorn now" and i was like yessssss this is the reporting i want to know about!

hiiii could you please clip the part where they talk about will getting dinner with ryan leonard before the game?? i believe it is either in the sharks or caps pregame show!

@loganes and I watched back the pregame for both games and we didn't hear anything along those lines.
