The infinity pool that launched a lifelong friendship. This was before we styled the deck for the sunset shot. It was before we would all watch the glow of the LA lights burn brighter and brighter. It was before hoofing down three flights of stairs to hang on the edge of the Hollywood Hills. #locationphotography // You never know when you are going to have your best shoot and so as it unfolds you need to thank the all seeing production genie for the grace and goodness to have everything come off without a hitch. I drive by this house everyday on my way to work. When we shot this, the barn was behind the camera and we stood in its shadow to keep us from overheating in the summer sun. // We tipped shrubs down and lined the base of the garden with a faux hedge. I brought lanterns to set on the steps. We are facing south west and this is late morning light in America's heartland. // We installed @hunterdouglas shutters in the porch and the rest of the house. This cupola style roof stands out in our neighborhood as one of the many authentic farmhouse architectural features.
