Look, the shit going on with Boris and his parties at the moment, it might feel like it doesn't matter, because any twat on the Tory front bench who replaces him will be as bad or materially worse (yes I do believe that of e.g. Priti Patel) I honestly think when it comes to making people suffer for your mistakes we ain't seen nothing yet BUT it does matter because if we sit back and say "yeah ok the prime minister can break the law" that is a fundamental change to our society and how things work- best case scenario law and order starts to break down because everyone else stops respecting it too, worst case a literal dictatorship- like who's to stop Boris if in 2024 he doesn't call an election then? Like it really feels like this current Tory party is Capitalism's last ditch attempt at clinging on, maybe the UK's last ditch attempt at clinging on before it splits up with at least NI and Scotland going their own way, I don't know.

But anyway in a way none of that matters, what matters is now is the time to organise with your comrades, to reach out to people, to try and make connections that matter because if the country is at risk of crumbling we need to be ready to try and rebuild something better.
