"The Wings Over The West." A Lockheed Lodestar of Inland Air Lines, based in Casper, Wyoming, operated routes in the American West. Starting out as Wyoming Air Service (WAS), a flying school and mail service in 1930 - changing its name in 1938, flying passengers from Denver to Great Falls and Huron. Purchased by Western Air Lines in 1944 where it served as a separate subsidiary until 1952. (FTP).
