One last photo of my piece from the Lockport Chalk Walk this past weekend, taken after I touched up the parts that dripped and faded in the over night rain, so it's in the morning shade a little here. - If you would like to see it in person, it's up outside of ART247 (247 Market Street, Lockport), until God and the weather decide to take it down. ☺ . I'd like to take a minute to Thank the organizers and sponsors, because mid-pandemic they still scrambled to find a way for art and community to come together in Lockport, AND they did a spectacular job. Thank you to the other artists for being supportive, because outside of a couple of 4H fair events (a long time ago) I really don't have any background with chalk art, but no one let that stop me. (And thanks for the heads up about the rain) Thank You to ART247 @ART247 for offering their big outside chalkboard as a Chalk Walk spot. They're still closed to the public (including my art art studio), but still were able to allow me space to bring my creativity to a wonderful community again. And also, Thank You to every single person that passed by and honked, or social distance shouted nice supportive words of encouragement my way. I've done publicly supported outdoor work before, but honestly this was probably the most real-time positivity I've ever received while working.
