1. A favorite character you have played.

I haven’t really played all too many characters, not gonna lie! But I think my favorite of the small bunch has been Inani “Stormwalker” Kuliminthino (tempest cleric goliath) that I played in a mutual’s Out of The Abyss campaign. I really liked her backstory, which was that she was a folk hero for a small tribe of drow on the surface who once ostracized her for her size. She prevented some rich human nobles from colonizing the tribe and saved the town’s hide after facing a brutal beating from the head of the colonization effort. They revered her as a hero until her eventual mysterious “death”. It was the town’s tradition to send their deceased loved ones in a coffin to the Underdark (yknow, the drow homeland lol), which is how she ended up become a part of the campaign when the party found her locked in a rather massive coffin. I didn’t get to play in that campaign for all too long, but I think she had a lot of potential and I plan to use her as an NPC in my own campaign here very soon.

15. Do you have snacks during game times?

All. The. Time. I can’t picture a game of mine that didn’t include a fucking BANQUET of a feast. We all decide on the main course at least a week in advance and who will be providing, chipping in, prepping, and making the food. Sometimes my mother is home and really loves to cook for everyone too. She once made us all almost 10 pounds of chicken fried rice that I forced everyone to take a tupperware of home with them. We don’t play often, so it’s pretty easy to prepare a feast for the rare occaision.

24. How much planning/preparation do you do for a game?

God, months of prep. I over prep for sure, but i’m trying to train myself to not do that too much. It’s the worst when i’m building an entire city and have the make profiles for all the NPC’s and what they want from the party. But once i’m past that initial point of arc-making, then it becomes relatively easy tbh. I usually start w/ a brain storm, then a skeleton/outline, THEN I flesh things out in the order the party will be encountering them.

i did this but i did rig the cards!! it's a really useful tool for if you have personal character arcs you're gonna send the players through.

it’s funny i did consider rigging it but the cards i pulled for their single card readings were actually perfect?? i was a little taken aback not gonna lie
