A Busy “Off Season”
No time went to waste after our 2016 ski season shut down. We’ve been nothing but busy here at the lodge during our “off season” but it’s been worth it! With multiple capital upgrade projects well under way, we’d thought we’d share an update on the new features you’ll be seeing at the lodge for 2017.
Not only is our friend Pero an expert skier, but an expert stone mason as well. Thanks Pero for this gorgeous new fireplace, we can’t wait to curl up here next winter.
He also did a great job upgrading our bathrooms and building a new front deck and barbecue for the summer.
A few weeks of hard work and our new dock is also nearly completed. The guys have been working rain or shine on this beauty, and we’re just about ready to start on the boat house. We managed to save some of the unique elements from the original boat house, so the completed project will incorporate a touch the lodge’s history.
