Character design for my current DND character’s mother: Tínu.
She’s a pureblood Astrumborn Elf (homebrew race, based on the startouched elves from The Dragon Prince!).
Being the religious leader of their small commune, Tínu struggles with showing affection and care to her more grounded son. She always believed her purpose lied beyond this mortal life of hers, and wrote many pages in her journal on what she would accomplish the moment she would ascend into the elves’ court of ancestral deities. Now deceased and having taken her place amongst their gods, she tries to guide her son still, trying to steer him back onto the right path.

The drawing was made with Copic Markers and Faber Castell Polychromos on marker paper. The star markings are white pencil and correction fluid hahaha.
