Hey guys. I'm participating in this, but I can't stay up till midnight. So, I'm just gonna log off now, and I won't be back until Tuesday.(Or maybe later, if Tumblr keeps up it's bull). Just figured I would let you guys know, so you wouldn't be confused about why I'm not active

I wasn’t sure if you all were aware that there’s a petition to get rid of the adult content ban, so here it is.

dude no. even when you logged out before all this happened, you were asked about the app. it’s legit what every single app does. the protest did absolutely nothing and changed nothing. no one was heard. it just seemed people were busy since you guys are back smh

I didn't mean that the poll was up because of the protest. I just tells something that apps ask your opinion after you've been away from them for a while. Users are valuable as they watch the ads and make money to the developers.

And I have to ask if you have seen the new update from staff? They watch what we talk about, at least to some little degree. They know that we do indeed hate the term "female-presenting nipples". The log-off protest is trending right now as well, so they have to know about that also.

I know that we can't do much, but at least we can try, right? It's bigger companies than our staff behind this anyway (like new laws passing and Yahoo that owns Tumblr) so this doesn't make that much of a difference, but at least they should know our opinion about this by now.

Log-Off Protest

Okay guys, a little early but this is so I don’t zone out and forget to post about it, and so people can see it one more time, but I’m doing the 24 hour log-off protest for 17th. I’m not leaving the site itself just yet, I’d like to see how this pans out, but I do not support the new guidelines and what is doing to many artists. I don’t have concerns about being deleted, but if it happens, I will post updates for new art spaces on one of the above accounts. See you guys soon.
