Bloodborne Update!

I finally, finally, FINALLY beat Logarius. All it took was liberal application of a +10 Holy Moonlight Greatsword.

Slightly related note, I am apparently a vampire now and Alfred went coo-coo for cocoa puffs. Man, I really have a knack for just making things worse.

Right, so picture this: The Hunter is nearing the top of Cainhurst Castle.

They’ve braved through the many dangers that haunt the castle’s hallways. But now, their greatest challenge lies in wait.

As the intro plays out, Martyr Logarius makes his entrance like this:

for the logarius anon, some tips on that frozen old fart, if you like!

i am well aware that just saying “parry him” ignores the difficulty of pulling off parries. what i did was i spent a couple of fights just focusing on parrying various attacks, without taking the ripostes so he didn’t go second phase/die. a solid tell i find that works for me is that, a little more than a half second after his voice line when he winds up for a melee swing, that’s the opening of the parry window.

make sure to backstab him when he starts his buff animation! you deny him his 2nd phase buff and get a free visceral!

also during the 2nd phase, shoot the sword he stabs into the ground. the sword extends his combos and makes them a lot more deadly.

if i’m using a buffable weapon (the chikage, bloodletter, burial blade and blade of mercy are my favourites lol), always buff with fire and don’t bother with arcane spells. if you have any bloodtinge weapons, he’s weaker to them than he is fire or bolt.

final tip dodge left for most of his spells. the exploding skull drifts slightly to the right so you should be safe if you dodge to your left.
