The new Legend of Galatic Heroes PV is out! 

And Miyano Mamoru is voicing Reinhard!

And I haven’t even finished watching the old series!

So I can’t search for anything about it on tumblr yet because I hate spoilers

But I still can’t wait!

Also the battle scenes look 10000000000x better. I just hope they portray the strategies and battle of wits just as well as the original series.

Because that’s one of the things that I love about it.

Yang Wen-li is the best! Then Reinhard. Then Kercheis.

Just watched the first episode of logh remake. The battle is visually stunning, everything from the designs of the ships, the camera angle, the scale of the fleet, the movements during battle look great. But no Wagner and Dvorak :/

Characters are meh, character expression animation is minimal and they’re stiffed. I think seiyuus for both reinhard and kirechis both got their respective characters wrong. I don’t know why Mamoru is so subdued and serious, Reinhard is anything but subdued. He’s bratty and childish.

The speech by Yang wenli at the end of the episode feels out of character......it’s a very strange way to introduce his character, “I will not lose”.....such public display of self confidence is not the fundamental of his character. I got a very bad feeling about his character.....

Fahrenheit isn’t as pretty as in the original, silver haired boys should be pretty, not manly.

And to the guy who decided to use a bit of german in the subtitle, yeah we know they’re Prussians in space lol
