Have either of you seen any of the Disney movies? If you have, do you have a favorite character? Mine would be Peter Pan.

Crowley: Those kids movies that preach about kindness and family and love? Yeah, not really my style. I’ve seen a few of them, left them on the TV in the background while I’ve been in the same room, but I’ve definitely not paid enough attention to have a favourite character.

Aziraphale: Oh moving pictures! I’ve not seen many of those actually, but I do know the character of Peter Pan from J. M. Barrie‘s book. An excellent choice for a favourite character, I rather enjoy that story myself.

Crowley: Actually, come to think of it, you’d probably like Disney films angel. Maybe it’s about time we had a movie night: you need a proper media education, and this might be a good way to ease you in to better films. I’ll get wine, you pick a title.

Aziraphale: I do believe that the Disney corporation made a film out of Victor Hugo’s novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Perhaps we could start with that adaptation?

Crowley: ... Did you just pick the one Disney title that’s set in a church? Are you kidding me angel?

Hi! I was wondering what your favorite books are? Or if you have a favorite character?

Aziraphale: Oh my, what an excellent question! Well my dear, there are just so many to choose from! I am a particular fan of books of prophecy actually, so I suppose you could say those are my favourite books, or my favourite genre at least. I imagine you’ve heard of the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter? I would perhaps have to say that that is my all time favourite considering how important it turned out to be in recent events. As well as being the most accurate book of prophecy to exist, it also has a strong sentimental value, even if I no longer have a physical copy of my own.

Crowley: Look what you’ve done, he’ll be going on like this for hours now. I don’t read books, meaning I don’t have any favourites, so if you’ll excuse me, I’m just going to slide out while he’s distracted…

Aziraphale: Now I don’t read as many fiction books so favourite characters are a little harder but there are a few that do come to mind. I do enjoy Agatha Christie’s Poirot, he’s an excellent chap, and actually Miss Marple too while we’re on the subject. Phileas Fogg is perhaps another one, from Around the Word in 80 Days? And actually, perhaps a guilty pleasure, but I do rather like the character of James Bond. He reminds me a little o- Oh? Crowley? Are you still there? … Has he been gone long?
