i'm 28 and i also feel this way, but my therapist put it like this: it's not about whether you're miserable being called a woman, it's whether you're happy being called something else. (also i'm thinking about changing my URL more and more these days for similar reasons)

there’s an answer for this! basically when you get the shot there’s an incubation period like the actual flu so if you caught the flu before that (or happened to catch it from someone at the clinic who was contagious) then you can end up with the flu before you actually have the immunity. and since your immune system in particular is already kinda weakened you’re even more susceptible to that very thing. so! it is a myth, but that is why it is a myth.
