i love all your gifs!!!!!! thank you for keeping the fandom alive lol. if you're bored would you be able to do a gif set of the kitchen fight from hannibal (2001)? most people gif the encounter and dialogue once they're against the fridge but i feel like we're missing the action at the outset. i always liked that part it's like an odd dance lol

Thank you! I can definitely gif that part in Hannibal. It is a bit overlooked but it's one of my favorite parts. Hannibal is supposed to be surprisingly strong for his size but we never really get to see it (not enough for my liking anyway) so I love his controlled strength in that scene. We get a glimpse of what he could do to her but we know he'd never harm her and that's hot. 🥵🤤❤️

@loinsofdoom listen, same. I am too. What breaks me is the flashback to him being a kid but at the same I agree with you. What truly puts things in perspective for me when people say “he’s mentally unstable and doesn’t really know what is real or not” is that he does have an inherent sense of self awareness. He is aware that something is wrong with him and acknowledges it several times. He asks for help with that scene in the car with the psychiatrist. He knows what he’s doing in certain aspects. Another part that demonstrates this is when he is perfectly willing to go along with his therapy and then finds out his mother is married he suddenly snaps back to his manipulative tendencies. He is fully aware of what he is is capable and we can’t just push all the blame on his mental state. I agree, I too am tired of people justifying his actions solely on his backstory. There is so much to Norman that is not just his mental state and psychotic behavior. There is genuine self awareness that translates into his manipulative rhetoric and actions (such as shit talking Alex.)

My dogs LOVE peanut butter! But they don’t get it very often, especially Maddy because she has a bit of a weight problem ;) we’re working on it though!

The cake was simply ground beef, shredded zucchini and eggs baked in a cake tin. With some low fat cottage cheese on top.

what exactly is labyrinth about anyway? it always confused me. it seems like some sort of weird coming of age and sexuality story where jareth is supposed to be the seductive man or w/e but then she realizes she's not ready for that world and rejects him in the end, i guess its like a psa for the dangers and abusiveness of seduction re: young girls and older men? what do you think?

I think that’s the more obvious story, but underneath it it’s a story about dealing with raw evil in general, and the many forms it morphs its way into as it tries to mess with your head.  And especially the ways to resist it.  But it’s hard to describe, because these aren’t things I’m used to talking about, and I didn’t sleep last night because extra steroids because heat exhaustion and living in someone else’s house to get out of the heat and then five people in the room at once (I normally never see more than two people at a time, ever, and there was my friend plus her caregiver plus my case manager and two of my caregivers) because both of us had overlapping caregiver shifts and now my brain is mush.  Sorry for not a better answer.
