#lok parallels

I was rewatching atla/tlok in a random order and realised that Book 3 episode 1 of atla (The Awakening) and Book 4 episode 7 of tlok (Reunion) are really similar

1. The avatar returns 

Aang wakes up after weeks being in a coma

Korra returns after being gone for 3 years

2- Both avatars feel like they have failed

The classic "I need my honour back"

“I feel like such a failure” after being defeated by Kuvira

3- Finally (my favourite) the I like your hair kataang/korrasami scene

Parallels between LOK 107 and 407

Just noticed a few parallels between Book 1 episode 7 and Book 4 episode 7... these can't all be unintentional. =D

* 107: Mako and Bolin move into the Sato mansion   

  407: Grandma Yin and her family are in a safehouse that belongs to the Satos

* 107: Korra questions/accuses Hiroshi Sato

  407: Korra questions Hiroshi's intentions (in regards to Asami)

* 107: Korra and Asami are in a Satomobile race

  407: Korra, Asami and Mako are in a car chase 

Korrasami Bonus:

* 107: It's shown onscreen that Korra and Asami are becoming friends

  407: It's shown onscreen that Korra and Asami have a deep emotional bond (however you choose to interpret it) that may be seen as something more than friendship 

Prediction for 408: Bolin meets up with the Krew because Team Avatar was "officially" formed back in 108

Mako x Ming-Hua: The May December Zutara of LOK

Ah yes the brooding firebender and the the badass waterbender, which fight on opposite sides. This time around it's the firebender trying to protect the avatar from the waterbender.
