“Loki! I’m home!” You dragged out the ‘i’ in his name, a give away of your excitement. You came in and closed the door to your shared apartment in New York. Loki moved in with you a couple years after the whole New York thing. You're a shield agent and work with the Avengers. You run into your bedroom and find him reading. He looks up at you and you practically jumping with joy and a huge smile plastered on your face, he sets his book down and raises his eyebrow.
“I have a surprise for you!” You say all chirpy and sing songs like. He sighs and rolls his eyes and stands up. You grab his hands and pull him out of the bedroom and lead him to the door of your apartment.
“Ok, ready?”
“I suppose so”
“Good, wait here.”
You open the door to the apartment and quickly shut it behind you. You open it again fully and a black fluffy dog with a green collar jumps through you to Loki and on him. Loki just looks at you puzzled and you have the biggest smile on your face.
“His name is mischief” You say, still glowing. Loki just laughs and pets the dog who's still on him and smiles at you. You laugh too and sit on the floor and Loki comes over to sit with you, while mischief follows and jumps back on Loki’s lap and he smiles out of control. You push Loki back on the floor and kiss him. Mischief decides to join in and lick both of your faces while you and Loki laugh and smile at each other.
Thank you, so much for the 8001 followers!!!

“Banner! Get over here, now, and meet my son, Elliot.”
You can’t suppress the grin that spreads over your face as you press your ear to the office door. Loki’s in the hallway on the other side with the four-month-old Elliot, proudly showing him off to all his…coworkers.
They’d been hoping to surprise you, you guess, considering Loki has told you the two of them would be staying home all day while you had to get back to work, but now they’re approaching your office—come on, you can pick up Loki’s voice from miles away.
There’s muffled congratulations and a few “aww’s” as poor Bruce stuck in the hallway with your husband starts fawning over the baby. Rolling your eyes with a smile, you head back to your desk to act surprised when they walk through the door, and within minutes the door flies open.
“Guess who’s here, my darling dearest,” Loki sings, sauntering into the room with an unusually carefree smile on his face.
“My babies!” You squeal and jump out of your chair to run over to him, noting how Loki’s chest swells with pride when he sees he “surprised” you. “I thought you were gonna stay home all day,” you grin and sling an arm around his neck to pull him in for a kiss. “Isn’t this setting a bad example for your child?”
He laughs and drops the diaper bag on one of the chairs in front of your desk, switching little Elliot to his other arm. “Lying for the greater good doesn’t count as such.”
“Greater good?”
“To quote that ridiculous Disney movie…you are my greater good.”
That brings a laugh to your lips and you hug him again, a little tighter this time. He seems so happy today, so carefree with an air of loftiness about him as he presses a kiss to the top of your head.
“In all reality,” he sighs when you let go and return to your desk, watching him sink into the other chair, “I need your help.”
“Anything.” You grin and rest your head in your hands—it’s your family, sitting here right in front of you, all together and happy and just…ugh!
“How do you work this contraption?” He reaches into the bag, pulling out something with a whole lot of buckles and waving it at you. It’s one of those baby carriers, the kind you strap onto your chest or back to carry the baby right against your body, a recent purchase in your household. You’ve only used it a couple times, and Loki certainly hasn’t ever.
You’d assumed he wouldn’t want to. But he hands it to you and goes back to staring at his son, a dopey grin on his face as he holds him under the arms to help keep him sitting up straight.
“Well…do you want to carry Elliot in front or behind you?” You stand up and walk around your desk to stand behind Loki’s chair, holding out the harness-thing.
“In front of me, of course,” Loki immediately answers, not looking away from the baby. He brings up a finger to lightly tap Elliot’s tiny button nose, a breathless laugh leaving his lips as he does.
Elliot’s face scrunches up at the gentle boop on the nose, squealing and rubbing his face with tiny fists and you swear Loki giggles—yeah, the god, giggling!
“Stand up for me, I’ll put it on you.” You stoop down over his shoulder and plant a kiss on his cheek. “You’re just as cute as this baby, you know that?”
He stands up and lifts his elbows so you can slip the straps under his arms, lifting Elliot into the air and making a quiet whooshing noise as he flies the baby through the air. “That is the worst lie you’ve ever told me,” he frowns, holding Elliot out in front of the two of you. “Just look at our child, nothing in existence could be more adorable.”
The baby’s chubby face squishes up as Loki holds him under the arms, and he starts wildly kicking his feet with a giggle.
Oh my goodness.
“I swear, I’m going to start crying if he gets any cuter.” You reach over Loki’s shoulder and gently run the backs of your fingers over Elliot’s round cheek. “We did pretty good on this kid.”
“Mmhm…”
He’s lost again, floated off into another cloudy daze as he just stares at his son, a lazy half-smile stuck on his lips.
“Okay, arms up, dad,” you chuckle and put a hand on his stomach, turning him around to face you. He brings Elliot back into his chest, laying him in the crook of his arm and smiling down at him, long fingers brushing over the baby’s chubby cheeks, tickling his neck.
“Hold Elliot’s back against your chest,” you tell him, lightly patting his cheek to wake him out of his baby daze. “I’ll buckle him in for you.”
“Right, of course, sorry.” He blinks and shifts Elliot in his arms to hold him against his chest, one hand holding his tummy up straight. You secure the carrier around Elliot and tighten the straps one last time under Loki’s arms, leaning in with a grin to brush your nose against Elliot’s before you move away.
Have you ever been so full of love for someone or something that you actually felt sick?
Watching how the baby kicks and giggles when you start making faces at him, Loki nearly faints. You scrunch your eyes tightly closed and Elliot reaches for your face, squealing with delight when your eyes pop open again with a grinning gasp—Loki’s stomach lurches.
“You have got to stop that,” he groans, catching Elliot’s flailing hands and letting him curl his fist around his pointer finger.
“Stop what?” You laugh and rest your hands against Loki’s chest on either side of Elliot.
“Being so…so irritatingly irresistible.”
Pressing a kiss to Elliot’s forehead, you give Loki a flustered smile and wrap your arms around the two of them. “You make a pretty irresistible dad yourself, snowflake.”
“I will not hesitate to take you home, right now,” he warns when you start kissing him, slow and teasing and unbearably soft, keeping a hand near Elliot for him to grab on to—he keeps reaching for Loki’s fingers, though.
“You can’t,” you murmur and tangle your other hand in his hair, knowing just how hard you’re making this for him. If you move your tongue just right, he’ll probably sweep you off your feet any second now, pull you flush against his body and transport all three of you right back home so he can have his way with you—your stomach fills with butterflies just at the thought.
But when you try to slip your tongue between his lips, he just kind of…sits there. He’s distracted, halfheartedly kissing you back, and you open your eyes; his are already open.
Not looking at you.
Loki’s gaze is looking right past your face against his down to where little Elliot has grabbed a firm hold of his finger, absentmindedly gnawing on it and occasionally kicking his tiny foot into Loki’s stomach.
“Mmph, look, look,” Loki says, voice muffled as he pushes you off of him, excitedly looking down at his son. “He didn’t shift this time!”
“I was trying to kiss you, doofus.” You cross your arms in a teasing pout, jumping forward to peck another kiss on his lips. “Loki? Your lips, please?”
He purses his lips a little too late, a sloppy attempt at appeasing you, too busy smiling down at the baby squirming on his chest. “You are going to be more powerful than any life to ever walk this earth,” he croons, hugging Elliot tightly and pressing a light kiss to the top of his head.
“What? He gets a kiss and I don’t??”
“He’s so precious…” Loki’s not paying a sliver of attention to you anymore, slowly walking around your office and bouncing the baby strapped to his chest.
Heading back to your desk with a sigh, you can’t help but smile—even though you’re apparently nonexistent at the moment, seeing your son gazing up at Loki while he bounces him around the room has got to be the cutest thing you’ve ever, ever seen.
At this point, you could probably strip down to your socks and Loki wouldn’t even bat an eyelash.
He paces around your office while you get back to work, Elliot holding his fingers with a death grip and occasionally bringing one to his mouth to happily gnaw on for a bit. He makes a happy little sound every time Loki turns around because Loki’s hair brushes against his head, tickling him and bringing a bubbly gargle into the room each time.
Forget about work…now you’re just sitting at your desk, your chin resting in your hand as you watch them spin about the room. Once Loki figures out what’s making Elliot laugh, he starts just spinning in circles, back and forth like a dizzy little kid until Elliot starts giggling nonstop.
“I love you…” Loki sings quietly, still twisting from side to side and bending his head down to tickle Elliot with his hair. “I love you, Elliot! Daddy loves you, yes I do, I love you—”
Elliot squeals and reaches up to grab a tight fistful of Loki’s hair.
“Ah—ow, Elliot, no, stop that,” he stutters, trying to pry the tiny fingers out of his hair. “Let go, child, you’re hurting me—darling, please, help me!”
He rushes over to your desk, neck craned down to Elliot who’s happily tugging over and over on his dad’s long hair. “He won’t let go! This little guy is stronger than he looks, ouch…”
“Okay, okay!” You can’t help but laugh—Elliot has a death grip on Loki’s curls. “C’mon, Elliot, let go, please?” You try to uncurl the tiny fingers but the baby just squeals again and pulls harder. “No no no don’t do that!”
“THAT HURTS—”
“I know!! I’m trying to help, he’s just—not—letting—go!” You give up on force and start tickling Elliot’s round tummy up to his neck, tickling the little baby anywhere you can reach until he starts squirming with laughter and finally releases his hold on Loki’s hair.
“Good gods, child.” Loki sounds shocked, gingerly rubbing his head that had just been so viciously attacked. “…I’m impressed.”
“Hey, you crazy baby,” you grin, leaning down to rest your forehead on the baby’s, “be nice to your daddy, okay? I kinda love him and it’d be nice to keep him around.”
Elliot just coos a happy gurgle with a wide, toothless grin, grabs your face with two tiny, ruthless hands, and kicks Loki in the stomach again.

I JUST WANT HIM TO BE HAPPY #2
Don't know who the baby is. Could be his child. Could be Thor's. Could be an oc's. Did he steal the baby? You decide.

Is that Sylvia? Is that some random girl? Is that YOU??? Who knows.
