Loki was walking around the dimly halls of a home, "where was the tesseract" he though to himself. As he was walking around the dimly lit halls he saw pictures of people in uniforms and with the avengers. "Was this another Avengers home, may be Steve's" he muttered with anger why and would they put it here he thought. As he turned a corner he saw a group of people whom were speaking in low voices. He stopped and listened to see if he could hear what they were saying but it was useless "Damn..." he sighed. Loki narrowed his eyes once he saw the S.H.I.E.L.D emblem on the wall. "This must be where they keep it" Loki smirked evilly he continued to walk the halls till he came to a room at the end of one of the long hallway. He tried to open it but it would not budge.
Making no sound, an auburn haired girl maneuvered through the halls with a duffel bag slung over her shoulder.Tonight she would escape this so called "School" for good. School. Psht. This place was more like a tailor made prison. They all knew was dangerous, unstable even, so they stuck her here where she could be kept under constant surveillance Of course they veiled their intentions by pretending to care for her safety as an orphan when in reality they feared for their own. They had never dealt with someone like her before. They feared her unknown potential. And for good reason. This would mark her 18th break from the walls that held her captive within the last month. Obsidian orbs stared through the darkness cataloging the best route. She needed to get to the Rec. Room.
In her haste for freedom she quickly turned a corner and spotted a familiar looking man attempting to open a locked door. Normally she would have immediately faded into the shadows to prevent being seen but this time was different. She knew this man.
A moment of silence passed before she dared to speak. "Loki." The word was not posed as a question, rather as a blunt statement. It was filled with neither hatred, nor malice, just a common tone with a hint of wonder. It wasn't hard to recognize the God of Mischief after the catastrophic events that unfolded in New York City. Perhaps she could be scared. She wasn't. Phoebe studied him a second longer, tilting her head at the unspoken question that lingered between the two; what was Loki doing in Xavier's Mansion?
