Just A Reminder
Also going right now but not on a regular schedule: Love in Idleness
Exposition for months, about 2 weeks of plot and then it’s just... over. I have so many questions. Why is Meg staying in Wellington? Why was she the other half of the channel when her character had no relevance to the plot? Why did tcw make her straight? Like, if she couldn’t be with Freddie, why not Hero?
Why 79 episodes? That’s such a strange number to end on. Where’s the falling action? It’s technically Peter’s channel, doesn’t he get a say? Will Bea and Ben still go traveling? Whatever happened to Rosa? Why was she even a character? Why were there so many characters who were completely irrelevant to the plot? How come no one ended up with the person that they did in Love Labors Lost? Like Kit sounded like he was supposed to be Katherine, and Rosa should have been Rosalind, right? Why was Ben’s academic struggle completely glossed over if it was going to be a major plot point? How come there was no sub-plot with Jaquie and Costa? I assume that Jaquie was Jaquentta and Costa was the constable, so there should have been something there. I’m just so confused...
This doesn’t feel like it should be the end. I’m hoping for a video of falling action back at home and in the flat or something, because it just feels unfinished.
Is it just me, or did the Vegan Fred liking Balth kind of come out of nowhere?
I mean, I know the characters had been pretty adamant about it, but it always seemed like an irrational assumption to me. Maybe it’s just ‘cuz I head-cannoned Vegan Fred as aro-ace, but it seems weird to me.
