2ND ANNUAL “FUCK LOVE LET’S POGO” ROCK LOTTO WAS SICK AS FUCK

like last year, this year was organized by Da Bell Of Da Ball.  Each band was created randomly during a drawing about a month ago. 7 bands in total spent this past month writing songs and practicing them.  They all played tonight for the first time and they all ruled!! None of them announced their names ahead of time, so I had to catch their names over the microphone. If I heard correctly the 7 bands were:

-Honey Bunches Of Goats

-Chlorine

-Ghost Weed

-Planet Of The Vapes

-Death Vision

-Sketch-a-bella

-Rude Dudes

Every band killed it and I really hope some of them pull a Strange Magic/Sputter and continue to be a band. If anyone took pictures put them on the internet so I can re-blob them here. What a great night. Rock Lotto shows are actually so much fun.

Oh also the night closed out with a very energetic cover of X-Ray Spex’ Oh bondage!  It was the perfect ending to a perfect punk show. Sure, life sucks shit and nothing makes sense right now but punk rules.  Winter is going to be over before we know it, meaning touring season is going to start up soon. Meaning we are going to be overwhelmed with shows here in Chicago. Meaning I need to get my life together so I can post all of them on here so you jerks can come out to them.
